About Our Company

Sunset Vacation Homes, located in the heart of Orlando's main attraction area, specialise in property management and vacation rentals near Walt Disney World.
By design, all our vacation homes include private pools, many of which have spas and we also boast a great selection of condos and townhouses all of which are in resort communities.
We pride ourselves on the superior level of personal attention and care we provide to our owners, homes and guests, and we strive to provide you with everything you may need to make your vacation experience all that you would wish it to be. A great deal of our business comes from repeat clients, many of which have stayed with us every year. This is something we are particularly proud of and we see every guest as a potential repeat client.

About Our Homes

All our homes are tastefully furnished and come with spacious bedrooms, the master with a large walk in closet, en-suite bathroom, some with roman tub, and often an extra shower unit and King size bed. A second bathroom serves the other bedrooms, one of which usually has a queen-size bed, the other having twin beds. The kitchens are fully fitted with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, kettle, coffee maker and waste disposal unit. There is also a pleasant breakfast area as well as a counter opening on to the living room. All units have a full size washer, and dryer and all the comforts of home.
Sliding patio doors open onto a covered patio which makes a delightful eating area by the private, screened, pool. Pool furniture, of course, is provided. The living room in each home is beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas (one of which pulls out to a double size bed), a separate dining area, remote cable TV, VCR/DVD and stereo. Computers with fully inclusive internet connection service are available for an additional fee. Please see our services page for details. A telephone is always available, as are a hair dryer, towels, quality linens, and, if required, a crib and highchair.

Pools

At the back of each villa is a fully screened private swimming pool, which has an underwater light for night time swimming. Sunset Vacation Homes pools come in many shapes and sizes, but all have been custom built to the owners’ specifications. Some of the pools are solar heated, (which of course is free energy), but many others are heated by gas or electric heaters, available for a nominal fee. The patio or deck areas are furnished with sun loungers, tables and chairs, and are equipped for evening swimming and/or dining activities beside the pool. All our pools are well maintained by professional Florida pool companies, who regularly clean them, and check the vital chemical levels to ensure that they are just right for your safety and use. Some homeowners have also equipped their homes with a spa which is connected to the pool. We can take your request for a home with one of these spas at no additional cost, and will try to meet your needs.
However, our website contains detailed descriptions of each home and as we only offer specific homes to our clients, you can choose the home yourself and any that already have a spa are clearly shown.

Our Staff

Sunset Vacation Homes is a family run business, primarily managed by Daniel and Sean Young in conjunction with their parents Philip and Wendy. Philip and Wendy own their own company, Evergreen Florida Vacation Homes, and the two companies work together to offer quality accomodation and excellent personal service. Philip has a background in the construction industry and was also a freelance journalist in the UK for 15 years. Philip oversees all aspects of the business and pays particular attention to the welfare of the homes and the owners. Wendy is responsible for the condition of the homes and takes great pride in this task. Every home is inspected when a guest leaves, and again before each guests arrives. We prepare our homes for arrival and try to make sure that the homes look their best when a guest walks through the door and in this respect, Wendy is the best around at what she does. Daniel spent a year working at the UK pavilion at the Epcot theme park and has been well trained in customer relations. He has in depth knowledge of all the local attractions and is only too happy to help when asked. Sean is the computer guru and helps in all aspects of marketing and web design, both for us and our owners. We offer online calendars and statements for all our owners and Sean is directly responsible for maintaining these. A new addition to our team is Sonia Jenks. Sonia is a very experienced person in the vacation rental business and is familiar with all aspects of property management. She also takes a leading role in promoting the company to prospective clients and handles all our bookings from guests and agents alike. We currently have a supreme team of cleaners available to us, along with an experienced maintenance crew which takes care of all our issues relating to pool care, lawn maintenance, and pest control. Evergreen has built up a reputation within the business for quality care and service and we do everything we can to uphold our standing within the industry.
